Title: Love you
Pairing: Jack/Bill
Rating: pg
Word count: 159
Warnings: sad
A/n Bill contemplates his and Jacks relationship, point 3 in "25 things no one knows about Jack and Bill"

Another fic for the potc_love christmas drabble exchange, for the wonderful st_minority

I love you.

Three little words that are meant to mean so much, really mean so little.

So when he says ‘I love you‘, you don’t believe him, because he doesn’t really know what he’s saying anyway, he’s too young, even though you are not much older you know what ties come with ‘I love you‘, you know what responsibilities, the hidden rules. You are never meant to let someone know that you really do love them, it leaves you open to be hurt.

He would say that love has no rules, it would be so like him, so light hearted, and carefree, but you know that’s what shows he doesn’t know what love really is.

So when he smiles up at you with that wide eyed adoration and sweetly says those three wicked words, you’ll nod, and hug him tight to you, and whisper back that you love him too.

Even though you know that’s breaking the rules.

I love you.

You're fantastic. These fics are making me squee with delight! You've made such an interesting backstory with these two, it's intriguing me beyond belief!

This one was sad! I think Jack really loves him. Maybe he's not old enough to know what all of love is, but I think he loves him. I wish Bill could see it that way!

And you are so wonderful as well, my dear. *bow*

He doe love 'im, But Bill would rather pretend that he didn't than think that he does, some people are like that, its a trust issue.

I think.

I really like that one. There is just so much going on in those few lines.
